Service Agreement
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") are entered into by and between Flat Pack King ("Company") and the user ("Customer"). By using the services provided by Flat Pack King, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Service Description
Flat Pack King offers a range of services related to furniture assembly, disassembly, and installation, as described on our website and in communication with the Customer. These services encompass various types of furniture, including but not limited to flat-pack furniture from manufacturers such as IKEA, Argos, Wayfair, Mamas and Papas, Next, John Lewis, Made.com, and more. We also provide additional services such as garden furniture assembly, wardrobe assembly (including specialist expertise in IKEA PAX wardrobes), office furniture assembly, gym equipment assembly, furniture dismantling and reassembly, and privacy film installation.
Booking and Payment
Customers are required to book our services through our website or via phone. Payment for services must be made in full at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply for services requested outside our standard business hours. All prices are quoted in GBP and are subject to applicable taxes.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Customers have the option to cancel or reschedule their appointments with a minimum of 24 hours notice. Cancellations or rescheduling made with less than 24 hours notice may result in an additional fee.
Warranty
Flat Pack King stands by the quality of its work and offers a 30-day warranty on all assembly services. If any issues or defects arise within this warranty period, we will promptly address them by repairing or replacing any faulty work, free of charge.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure they have all the necessary furniture components, tools, and clear assembly instructions on-site for the scheduled service. It is the Customer's responsibility to prepare the assembly area, ensuring it is safe and clear for our assembly team. Additionally, any safety or security concerns related to the assembly area should be communicated to our team in advance.
Liability
Flat Pack King cannot be held liable for any damage or injury that occurs during or as a result of the assembly service if it is due to the Customer's negligence or failure to comply with the provided assembly instructions. Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided and does not extend to any consequential or incidental damages.
Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy, accessible on our website, outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and agree to the terms therein.
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
Flat Pack King reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
